Who We Are

Established in 1996 for international trading, the company led efforts to legalize private CNG refueling stations in 2001 and pioneered the first three in Dhaka. It also imported, installed, and commissioned 48 stations for clients using PAGET equipment from Italy and the UK.

Pioneering in Private CNG Sector

In 2001, Asian Business Network Ltd made a landmark achievement by successfully lobbying the government to open CNG refueling stations to the private sector. It became the first company to establish three private CNG stations in Dhaka, pioneering a cleaner energy solution for urban transportation.

MD'S Message

Syed Sadat Ahmed has been an integral part of ABN Group since its inception in 1996. Actively involved in the travel and aviation sectors since 2002, he has represented Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) on the International Airline Board (Civil Aviation) in Bangladesh. He also served as the Vice President of the Bangladesh CNG Filling Station & Conversion Workshop Owners Association (BD CNG Association).

Chairman Message

The Chairman of ABN Group brings a wealth of experience from both military and civil service. He proudly served in the Bangladesh Army for 17 years, followed by 15 years in the Civil Service, where he held key leadership positions as Chairman of several major public sector corporations, including:

  • Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation

  • Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation

  • Bangladesh Jute Corporation

  • Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority

His diverse and impactful career reflects a deep commitment to national development. Currently, he continues to contribute to society as the Publisher and Chairman of the Editorial Board of the national daily newspaper Bangladesh Today.
